Preschool

     Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, at the corner of Main Street and Ashby Road in New Ipswich will be opening a new Pre-School for 4 and 5 year old children beginning fall of 2010.  Our Redeemer has been providing the surrounding communities with a high quality entry-level kindergarten program for over three decades!  Our newest endeavor is a pre-school program that continues this loving, learning tradition geared towards the younger child.  Our teaching staff will be comprised of two teachers.  Mrs. Bonnie LaRonde is a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  Her training continues and now is refocused on Early Childhood.  She has many years of experience teaching kindergarten at Our Redeemer.  A teacher’s aide will make up the other half of our classroom teaching team.  Mrs. Kathy Ross will continue to be a part of our school staff providing the secretarial and business needs of the pre-school and also helping out as needed.   
     Our program will be a loving, fun and creative balance of guided group and individual free play experience which provides children with socialization opportunities.  We will also provide an introduction to academic basics through age-appropriate learning activities.  Outdoor playtime will always be a part of our mornings, weather permitting.  (We are excited to report that we will be adding some playground equipment to our outdoor play area.  This is being made possible through a donation from the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Mite Box program.)   Circle Time with Pastor Batchelder has always been the highlight of our Wednesday mornings and will continue to give the children an opportunity to come to know God’s love for them through devotions, music, and singing.  
     Our Redeemer Pre-School will run half days, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Tuesday through Thursday each week of the regular school year.  This schedule provides young children with a “3-day learning core” each week for creative and fun socialization and learning experiences.  We are limiting our enrollment to 16 children, which we feel will provide us with an ideal number of energetic little ones to ensure a close knit, caring, happy community.   Please consider sending your little one to Our Redeemer Pre-School, “where love and core values come first”, to provide them with a fun, safe, educational start to their academic years ahead.    Little children want and need to be in the company of other children in their formative years.  It provides them with wonderful, happy experiences that only a group situation can give.
